How do I view and share Padelio tournament results?

Last updated 2026-05-10

TL;DR:

The live scoreboard updates round by round during play. Final standings appear automatically when the last round closes. Share via the public results link (app.padelio.org/t/<id>) or the auto-generated 1080×1920 results image — preview and download as a PNG on web, or share via the system share sheet on mobile.

Live scoreboard

While the tournament is running, the scoreboard shows:

  • Current standings — sorted by total points, wins, or position depending on the format and variant you chose.
  • Each pair's per-round breakdown (points, games, sets, or wins depending on the scoring variant — see tournaments/rounds-and-timer).
  • The current active round, which pair is on which court, and the live timer countdown.

The scoreboard is the same view for owners and participants. Only owners (and crew Manager+ for crew-hosted tournaments) can edit scores or move to the next round.

Final standings

When the last scheduled round closes, the tournament automatically transitions to FINISHED and Padelio:

  1. Computes final standings using the format's scoring rules.
  2. Renders a shareable results image (1080×1920, portrait — fits Instagram stories, WhatsApp statuses, Telegram messages).
  3. Updates each participant's player stats with this tournament's outcome.

Each row in the standings shows the pair (or player, for individual-scoring formats), points or games scored for and against, wins, losses, and draws. Padelio doesn't surface partner-count or "most-common-pairings" stats in the final view — those are only used internally for things like Americano partner rotation.

Sharing results

Every tournament has a public URL of the form app.padelio.org/t/<tournament-id>. For public tournaments, anyone with the link can see standings and per-round details. For private tournaments, the viewer needs to be a participant (or be approved by the owner).

The results image

When the tournament is FINISHED, Padelio renders a 1080×1920 portrait results card showing the tournament name, date, format, and standings. From the tournament page:

  • Web — open the share/preview dialog and click Download to save a PNG. Drop it into your social tool of choice.
  • Mobile — open the share preview, then use the system share sheet to send the image directly to a contact, group, or social app.

The portrait dimensions are deliberate — the image is designed for vertical-feed and story-format placements (Instagram stories, WhatsApp statuses), not horizontal preview cards.

Crew and community feeds

If the tournament was created with a host crew (Host as Crew/Crew Pro), the crew's members can see it in the crew's own feed throughout the lifecycle — there's no separate "auto-post on completion" event; the tournament is associated with the crew from the moment of creation. Communities work similarly via their events tab.

How results affect player profiles

Each Padelio user's profile aggregates their tournament participation:

  • A list of recent tournaments and their finishing position.
  • Total tournaments, wins, losses, draws, points scored.
  • A computed player level that updates over time as more tournaments roll in.

Guests don't appear on any profile until they claim their entries — once they sign up and link a Padelio account to past guest entries, those results retroactively contribute to their profile.

FAQ

Can I edit a player's score after the tournament ends?
No. Final scores lock the moment the tournament moves to FINISHED. Within an active tournament you can still fix a score in the **current** round; once the next round is generated, the previous round's scores are locked.
Are results public if my tournament is private?
Public tournaments — and their results — are viewable by anyone with the link. Private tournaments require the viewer to be a participant (or otherwise approved); the join code is what gates access for non-participants.
How long do tournament results stay accessible?
Indefinitely. Padelio doesn't auto-delete tournaments. The share link keeps working until the owner deletes the tournament from settings.
Do tournament results affect my Padelio level?
Tournament participation feeds your player stats — total events, wins, losses, points scored. Padelio computes a level over time based on these aggregates. Guests don't accumulate stats until they claim their entries by signing up and linking the past results to a Padelio account.
